6 Week Mindfulness Course, Sept 13th – Oct 18th, Wednesday evenings 6.45-8.45pm in Dublin 2

The Gift of Mindfulness is running a 6 Week Mindfulness Course created and facilitated by Counselling Psychologists Dr Richard Meacham and Dr Emer Sheahan. The course is focused on learning to cultivate mindfulness through a variety of mindfulness practices and techniques to help reduce stress, live more presently and cultivate a more compassionate relationship towards yourself and others.

Course Outline:
Week One: Mindfulness and The Breath
Week Two: Mindfulness and The Body
Week Three: Mindfulness and Thoughts
Week Four: Mindfulness and Emotions
Week Five: Mindfulness and Self-Compassion
Week Six: Integrating Mindfulness into Daily Life

Course Details: Our next 6 week course will take place from 13th of September to 18th of October 2017 on Wednesday evenings from 6.45pm to 8:45pm in the Psychological Society of Ireland HQ, in Grantham House, on Grantham St. (located just 3 minutes from the Harcourt Luas stop).

Next Mindful Sunday Morning July 30th, 10am-2pm Dublin 2

Mindful Sunday Mornings

The Gift of Mindfulness is running a different kind of start to your Sunday with our Mindful Sunday Mornings created and facilitated by Counselling Psychologists Dr Richard Meacham and Dr Emer Sheahan. The mornings will be focused on learning about mindfulness, the benefits of mindfulness and how to begin to bring mindfulness into your daily life. Our Mindful Sunday Mornings allow plenty of space for mindfulness practice and some gentle mindful movement. Do bring along a yoga mat (if you have one) as some of our guided meditations are most relaxing when lying down.

What you will learn: During the morning we will look at a variety of mindfulness practices that can help you be more present and aware of yourself and your surroundings. We will introduce some relevant theory of mindfulness in the hope of inspiring and informing your practice. During the morning we will focus largely on the practical element of mindfulness so that you can take away a lived experience of what mindfulness might do for you, or reinvigorate your practice for those who are returners. These mornings are a space for shared experience, so there is plenty of room for discussion, and questions and answers in the group, or if you prefer you can chat one-to-one with the facilitators at the end of the morning or during the coffee break.

Who is this course for: No past mindfulness experience is required for this course, so absolute beginners are more than welcome to the morning. If you are returning for a refresher training, then this is also a good space for you to reinvigorate your practice. If you are a long-time practitioner, then this is a space for you to share your practice with a group. We are open to all.
